The Crime of the Century, from Emmy and Academy Award winner Alex Gibney, is a searing indictment of Big Pharma and their responsibility for manufacturing the very crisis they profit from. The two-part HBO original documentary premieres May 10 on HBO Max.
Michael K. Williams and Richard Kind in portraying Purdue exec Richard Sackler. The story is about the sale of OxyContin and the addiction it created.
The car was used by a stunt man to drive Richard Sackler around the circle of the Virginia Museum of Art in Richmond, VA. The scene takes place in Richmond, VA, but they want you to think it was New York. They started filming early in the morning and did not finish until after 11:00 PM. They had a company re-wash and wax the car. Then they changed the license for a New York plate and even put a New York State inspection sticker in the window!
This week the car was returned to the studio for a second filming!
CHANGING OF THE LICENSE PLATES.
STILL WAITING!!! WE COULD NOT GET ANY CLOSER BECAUSE OF THE COVID-VIRUS. EVERYONE HAD TO HAVE A NEGATIVE COVID-VIRUS TEST WITHIN 24 HOURS TO GET ON THE SET.. THE CAR SCENE WAS THE LAST TO BE FILMED FOR THE DAY. IT WAS AN EXHAUSTING DAY BUT VERY INTERESTING.
